Wa’el has extensive client relationship management experience in Kuwait and throughout
the GCC. He has previously worked at Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry in
Commercial Relations. He has also worked as Partner, Client Relations at The International Investor
Company, one of the pioneers in Islamic investment banking companies in Kuwait and in Investment
Placement at Gulf Investment House. Wa’el graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver
with a BArts majoring in Economics. He also holds an MBA from Ahlia University, Bahrain.

Azeemeh joins Gatehouse from the British Consulate General in Houston where she held the position of Vice Consul in the Energy and US Oil & Gas sector. She was responsible for inward investment and trade between the US and the UK in oil & gas and energy financial services. Azeemeh maintained strategic relationships with a number of energy companies including large independents, oil services companies and gas shale services. She has also worked for an environmental engineering firm as Director of Marketing and Public Relations and with the US Department of Commerce; and has worked as a licensed specialist in business lending, for Bank of America and Washington Mutual. Azeemeh also holds the Islamic Finance Qualification, issued by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Louisa brings with her over 17 years of Corporate Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Project Finance and Real Estate Finance experience. She graduated from RMIT University, Melbourne with a degree in Accountancy and has also an MBA from the University of Strathclyde.
